We were lucky enough to have a BHS legacy day here at Quarry farm.
On Tuesday 16th April we were absolutely honored to welcome Martin Clunes, who is president of the British Horse Society, and BHS CEO James Hick.
We had several talks by delegates of the BHS welfare, progression of the BHS, and the second chance scheme, among others.
Vicky, our wonderful Changing lives through horses coordinator did an enthusiastic and passionate talk on our work here with students on their education and our successes this year so far.
Martin then officially opened our brand new disabled facilities which were funded by the British Horse Society! We are so honored to be part of the BHS, It is a wonderful society from the bottom up to the very top, modern and progressive.
Thank you to all our wonderful team members who have been so supportive in our recent makeover of the yard, it has been hard work but so worth it. The yard and all our facilities look absolutely top notch.
Stay tuned for many more exciting plans for this year!
